Environmental and Animal Science

Frontier Elementary’s Environmental and Animal Science program brings learning to life through immersive, hands-on experiences that connect students directly to the natural world. Students explore plants, animals, climate, habitats, and conservation as they observe life cycles firsthand—from growing plants in our outdoor garden beds to caring for chickens in our on-campus coop.

Through engaging STEAM-based activities, students actively develop the 4Cs—Communication, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, and Creativity—while solving real-world problems inspired by nature. Outdoor learning is a cornerstone of our program, encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship. Throughout the year, students take meaningful action by participating in conservation initiatives that empower them to become thoughtful, informed caretakers of our planet.
